The Overseas Pakistanis Commission has introduced a major initiative aimed at resolving long-standing issues faced by Pakistanis living abroad. The plan includes the establishment of special courts and dedicated facilitation desks at key airports to provide faster services and legal support.
Under the new measures, separate courts will be set up in every district across Pakistan to exclusively handle cases related to overseas Pakistanis. These courts will focus only on matters involving citizens residing abroad, ensuring quicker decisions and reducing delays in the legal process.
Officials stated that cases involving overseas Pakistanis will be treated on a priority basis within this new judicial framework. The goal is to provide speedy justice and eliminate the common hurdles faced by expatriates when dealing with legal matters back home.
In addition to judicial reforms, facilitation desks will be launched in the first phase at airports in Lahore and Islamabad. These desks will offer immediate assistance for issues related to immigration, customs, and other essential services for incoming passengers.
Authorities confirmed that these airport facilitation desks will operate ะบััะณะปะพัััะพัะฝะพ, providing 24/7 support through trained staff. The initiative aims to ensure that overseas Pakistanis receive timely help upon arrival without facing unnecessary delays or confusion.
The OPC emphasized that all necessary administrative and judicial preparations have already been completed. With these steps, the government hopes to improve the overall experience of overseas Pakistanis and strengthen their trust in public institutions.
