Famous Pakistani singer Ali Zafar has shared an interesting story about Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. He revealed that the actor once personally approached him for a film song.
Ali Zafar said Shah Rukh Khan had heard his popular track “Sun Re Sajaniya.” After listening to it, the Bollywood star reportedly reached out to him. He said the actor “wanted him” to perform the song “Dard-e-Disco” for one of his movies.
The singer explained that Shah Rukh Khan “wanted him” specifically because of his unique voice style. According to Ali Zafar, the offer came as a surprise and was a memorable moment in his career.
However, he said he could not accept the offer. At that time, he was not in India. Due to scheduling issues, he could not travel for the project. As a result, the collaboration did not happen.

The singer added that it was an honor to be considered for such a major Bollywood project. He said that Shah Rukh Khan “wanted him” for a song in a big film, which showed great respect for his work.
