In a rare medical case, a 31-year-old woman in India has given birth to four children within five days. The unusual delivery took place in Uttar Pradesh and has drawn attention from medical experts.
The mother, Amina, belongs to Ovari village in Sambhal district. She delivered two sons and two daughters. All four children were born through normal delivery, which doctors described as highly unusual.
According to hospital officials, the first baby was delivered on May 9. The remaining four children were born on May 14. The case is being described as a rare event in the hospital’s history.
Medical staff confirmed that the pregnancy was considered high-risk from the beginning. Despite this, the deliveries were completed without a C-section.
Dr. Shubhra Agrawal, who led the medical team, said the four children were initially placed on ventilator support as a precaution. However, all newborns are now stable and recovering well.
Doctors also confirmed that Amina is in good health after the deliveries. Her condition is being monitored, but she has shown steady improvement.
During pregnancy, doctors had advised the family to consider reducing the number of babies due to health risks. However, the family chose to continue the pregnancy.

Amina expressed gratitude to the medical team for their support and care throughout the process. She thanked them for handling the situation with caution and expertise.

Medical experts say such multiple births are extremely uncommon, especially without surgical intervention. They added that careful monitoring played a key role in the outcome.
