Umera Ahmed explained the character in detail. She told her that Zeba gets married at a young age. This storyline makes it believable for her to become a mother of grown-up children later in the drama.
Sanam Saeed said this explanation helped her understand the depth of the role. She added that the drama was not focused only on youth-based storytelling. Instead, it carried a different narrative over a short episode format.
She also shared that the project was limited to around ten episodes. This structure made the storyline more flexible and acceptable for her.
The actor further recalled a powerful moment during her conversation with Umera Ahmed. The writer asked her whether she wanted to leave a lasting legacy or simply appear on screen looking attractive.
