Pakistani actress and model Momina Iqbal has once again become the center of public attention after a growing controversy involving PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar. The dispute includes serious allegations of harassment, threats, and claims regarding expensive gifts allegedly exchanged during their relationship.
The controversy began after Momina Iqbal reportedly filed a complaint against Saqib Chadhar. In response, the politician demanded the return of luxury gifts he claims were given to the actress during their association. Meanwhile, several reports circulating online claimed that the actress received luxury gifts worth millions of rupees. Journalist Irshad Bhatti, quoting the legal team of the MPA, alleged that the gifts included a Toyota Fortuner, a Honda Civic, and other costly items.
Among the reported items was also a luxury wristwatch said to be worth around Rs8 million. It was further claimed that the Toyota Fortuner is currently being used by Momina Iqbal’s mother. However, these claims remain allegations and have not been independently verified by authorities.
Earlier this week, Momina Iqbal approached Chuhang Police Station seeking legal action against the PML-N politician. In her complaint, she accused Saqib Chadhar of harassment, blackmail, intimidation, and issuing threats.
According to the complaint, the issue started in 2022 after an alleged marriage proposal. She claimed that despite ending communication, the harassment allegedly continued afterward.
The actress also accused the politician of using AI-generated digital content to pressure and defame her. She further alleged that her family members and manager were repeatedly contacted and harassed during the dispute.
Momina Iqbal also claimed that a retaliatory legal case was filed against her manager. In addition, she alleged misuse of political influence and continued intimidation.
The controversy has now become one of the most discussed entertainment and political stories on Pakistani social media. Supporters from both sides continue sharing opinions online as the matter develops further.
