The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has registered a case against Punjab MPA Saqib Chadhar over allegations linked to harassment and blackmailing of actress Momina Iqbal.
According to officials, the lawmaker has been booked under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA). The FIR includes serious allegations of threats, intimidation, and misuse of digital platforms.
The complaint states that Saqib Chadhar, along with his wife and associates, was allegedly involved in blackmail attempts. It further claims that private data was threatened to be leaked if a marriage demand was not accepted.
Officials confirmed that Momina Iqbal’s sister provided video evidence to the cybercrime authorities. These recordings are now part of the ongoing investigation.
