Saqib Chaddar Claims He Paid $13,000 Tuition Fee for Momina Iqbal’s Sister Amid Blackmail Allegations

The legal dispute between actress Momina Iqbal and Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chaddar continues to attract attention as investigations remain underway into allegations made by both parties.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) is currently examining claims related to harassment, blackmail, and extortion. The case has become one of the most discussed celebrity and political controversies in recent weeks.

In a written statement submitted during the investigation, Saqib Chaddar and his wife, Sameera Khan, alleged that approximately Rs8.3 million was transferred to Momina Iqbal during the course of their relationship. According to the statement, the financial support was provided over several years following their acquaintance in 2020.

The statement further claimed that Saqib Chaddar personally covered a number of travel expenses, including both domestic and international trips. These expenses were allegedly incurred while the relationship between the two parties remained active.

Among the most significant allegations is a claim that Chaddar paid 13,000 Australian dollars toward university tuition fees for Momina Iqbal’s sister, Ramsha Iqbal. He also alleged that an additional 10,000 Australian dollars was obtained through what he described as blackmail.

According to the statement, the relationship later deteriorated after Chaddar allegedly learned that Momina Iqbal had previously been married and divorced. He claimed this information was not disclosed to him earlier. As a result, he stated that he decided not to proceed with marriage and formally ended the relationship in August 2025.

The matter became more serious when Chaddar alleged that personal photographs and videos belonging to him were stored on the actress’s mobile phone. He claimed that unidentified individuals threatened to release the material online. According to his statement, he warned both Momina Iqbal and her sister against sharing or misusing any such content.

The Punjab lawmaker also alleged that Momina Iqbal was aware of his previous marriage. He claimed that call detail records could support his position. Additionally, he alleged that the actress encouraged his wife, Sameera Khan, to seek a divorce.

Another allegation included in the statement involves Momina Iqbal’s husband, Hamza Habib. Chaddar claimed that death threats were issued against him and said that a related FIR had already been registered in Chiniot.

At the same time, Chaddar rejected complaints filed by the actress before police and cybercrime authorities. He described those complaints as contradictory and based on false information.
