According to his remarks, traveling between Pakistan and India remains complicated. He said that a wedding in Dubai could help avoid difficulties related to cross-border travel restrictions.
The proposed marriage has attracted media attention for several months. Earlier, Qawi publicly expressed his interest in marrying Rakhi Sawant and claimed that discussions had taken place between the two sides. He also suggested that Rakhi might embrace Islam and adopt the name Rabia after marriage.
