Hot, Humid Weather to Continue Across Pakistan as Temperatures Remain High

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that Weather conditions will remain hot and dry across most parts of the country today. High humidity is also expected to make temperatures feel even warmer, especially in the plains.

According to the latest forecast, most cities will continue to experience intense heat during the daytime. However, some northern areas and a few districts of Punjab may receive rain with strong winds and thunderstorms later in the evening and at night.

In Islamabad and nearby areas, Weather is expected to stay hot and humid throughout the day. Authorities have advised residents to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during peak sunlight hours. People are also encouraged to stay hydrated and wear light clothing to reduce the risk of heat-related illnesses.

Most districts of Punjab are likely to remain hot and dry. Humidity levels will stay high, making the heat more uncomfortable. However, isolated rain, gusty winds, dust storms, and thunderstorms are expected in Sialkot and Narowal during the night. These showers may bring temporary relief from the hot conditions.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is also expected to witness mostly hot and dry Weather. Lowland districts will continue to face high humidity. Meanwhile, upper parts of the province may experience partly cloudy skies after noon, with a chance of light rain in some locations during the evening.

In Sindh, residents should prepare for another day of extreme heat and humid conditions. Most districts will remain dry, while coastal areas may see partly cloudy skies. The humidity near the coast is expected to keep temperatures feeling much higher than the actual reading.

Balochistan will continue to experience hot conditions across most districts. Central parts of the province are likely to remain under severe heatwave conditions. Southern districts may witness partly cloudy skies later in the day, but no widespread rainfall is expected.

The forecast also indicates hot and dry conditions in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the daytime. Partly cloudy skies may develop during the evening and night, but temperatures will remain high in many areas.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has urged citizens to take necessary precautions during the ongoing heat. Children, elderly people, and individuals with existing health conditions should avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. People are advised to drink plenty of water, stay in shaded areas whenever possible, and reduce unnecessary travel during the hottest hours of the day.
