IESCO explained that the current weather conditions have significantly increased power consumption, placing additional pressure on the electricity distribution system. The company said its teams are working to manage the situation while maintaining the stability of the power network.
Officials also assured consumers that the outages are temporary. They stated that electricity supply would improve once the national power shortfall decreases and demand returns to normal levels.
