Kashif Zameer is facing another legal case after police registered a First Information Report (FIR) in Lahore over allegations of fraud and criminal intimidation. The latest complaint was filed by an official of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), who accused the TikToker of taking money on the false promise of arranging travel to a European country.
According to police, the case was registered at Mozang Police Station in Lahore. The complainant, Dost Muhammad Khan, serves as a CTD official in Karachi.
The FIR states that the complainant became acquainted with Kashif Zameer through social media. He alleged that the friendship later led to discussions about overseas travel opportunities.
According to the complaint, Kashif Zameer allegedly promised to arrange travel to a European country. The complainant claimed he paid Rs194,000 after receiving those assurances.
The CTD official further alleged that the promised travel arrangements never materialised. He accused the TikToker of obtaining the money through false promises.
The complainant also claimed that Kashif Zameer later threatened him after the dispute emerged. According to the FIR, he was allegedly pressured to withdraw the case.
The complaint states that the alleged threats included warnings of serious consequences, including threats to his life. Police have included these allegations in the investigation.
Officials said the case has been registered and further legal action will depend on the outcome of the inquiry. Investigators are collecting evidence before taking the next steps.
The latest case comes shortly after another legal action involving the TikToker. Lahore’s Crime Control Department (CCD) had earlier arrested Kashif Zameer over videos shared on social media.
According to CCD Iqbal Town officials, the videos showed armed security guards wearing official uniforms. Police alleged that the videos promoted the public display of weapons.
Authorities took Kashif Zameer and the security personnel seen in the videos into custody. Two separate cases were registered under relevant legal provisions, including charges related to the alleged display of weapons.
During police custody, Kashif Zameer released a video statement. In the recording, he apologised for promoting the display of weapons and said he would not repeat such actions in the future.
He also requested forgiveness and expressed regret over the incident. The statement was shared while legal proceedings in that case continued.
Kashif Zameer previously attracted public attention after bringing Engin Altan Dรผzyatan, the star of the television series Diriliล: Ertuฤrul, to Pakistan.
The latest allegations have added to the legal matters already involving Kashif Zameer. Police have emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and that all claims made in the FIR will be examined before any further legal action is taken.
