PMDC Extends MDCAT Registration Deadline

PMDC Extends MDCAT Registration Deadline

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced an extension to the MDCAT registration deadline. The decision gives aspiring medical and dental students more time to complete their applications.

According to the PMDC, candidates can now register for the MDCAT by paying the regular registration fee until July 13. The council said the extension aims to help students who could not complete the process earlier.

The regulatory body also confirmed that candidates will still have another opportunity after the regular deadline. Registrations with a late fee will be accepted until July 18.

PMDC has urged all applicants to complete their registration before the relevant deadline. The council advised students not to wait until the final days to avoid technical issues or delays.

The MDCAT is a mandatory entrance examination for students seeking admission to medical and dental colleges across Pakistan. Thousands of candidates appear in the test each year to compete for seats in public and private institutions.

The registration extension is expected to benefit students who need extra time to complete their applications. It also provides flexibility for candidates facing documentation or payment delays.

PMDC has not announced any further extension beyond the revised schedule. Students are therefore encouraged to finish the registration process as soon as possible.

Candidates should carefully review their application details before submitting the registration form. They should also ensure that all required documents are uploaded correctly and the applicable fee has been paid.

The council has advised applicants to follow official PMDC instructions throughout the registration process. Students should rely only on verified information released by the council regarding deadlines and examination updates.

Medical education remains highly competitive in Pakistan. As a result, timely registration is an important step for students planning to secure admission to medical and dental colleges.

With the revised timeline now in place, eligible candidates have additional time to complete the registration process. Those applying with the regular fee must submit their applications by July 13. Applicants who miss that date can still register by paying a late fee until July 18.
