Google is expected to introduce major changes with the upcoming Google Pixel 11 series. A new leak suggests the smartphones will cost more than previous models but will also offer improved hardware, larger storage, and advanced artificial intelligence features.
The latest report surfaced just weeks before Google’s expected launch event. If the leaked details are accurate, almost every model in the new lineup will receive a price increase.
The Google Pixel 11 family is expected to include four devices. These are the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
According to the leak, the standard Pixel 11 will start at $899 for the 256GB storage model with 12GB of RAM. A larger 512GB version is expected to cost $1,019.
The reported pricing shows an increase of around $100 compared to the previous generation. However, Google may remove the 128GB storage option and make 256GB the new base model.
The Pixel 11 Pro is also expected to receive higher prices. The 256GB version with 12GB RAM could start at $1,099.
The 512GB model is rumored to include 16GB RAM and cost $1,219. Meanwhile, the top-end 1TB version could be priced at $1,449.
The larger Pixel 11 Pro XL may begin at $1,299 for the 256GB model. The 512GB version is expected to cost $1,419, while the 1TB option may reach $1,649.
The foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold is also expected to become more expensive. Leaks suggest the 256GB model will start at $1,899. The 512GB version could cost $2,019, while the 1TB model may be priced at $2,249.
One of the biggest talking points is Google’s reported AI strategy. The Google Pixel 11 lineup is expected to launch with Android 17 and place Google Gemini at the center of the user experience.
Instead of acting as a simple chatbot, Gemini is expected to function as a smart AI assistant. It may be able to open apps, complete tasks, learn user habits, and automate everyday activities.
This approach suggests Google wants AI to become a core part of smartphone use rather than just another feature.
The smartphones are also expected to feature Google’s new Tensor G6 processor. Reports claim this will be Google’s first flagship chip manufactured by TSMC instead of Samsung.
The change could improve performance, battery life, and heat management. It may also provide better support for advanced AI features.
Another reported change is the use of the MediaTek M90 modem. Google is expected to replace Samsung’s modem to improve network stability and cloud-based AI performance.
Camera upgrades are also expected. Leaks suggest the phones will continue using a triple rear camera system with 50MP, 48MP, and 50MP sensors. However, the main camera is rumored to receive hardware improvements.
The front camera may also change across the lineup. Every model is expected to include a new 13MP selfie camera, replacing the higher-resolution front cameras previously found on Pro models.
