Sindh Govt Announces New Recruitment Across 13 Departments

KARACHI: The Sindh Govt has announced a new recruitment drive to fill vacant positions in grades 5 to 15 across 13 provincial departments. The hiring process will begin with interviews scheduled to start on August 5, 2026.

According to the official plan, interviews will first be held in the Hyderabad Division. Candidates who successfully passed the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) recruitment test will be invited to appear for oral interviews.

The Sindh Govt said the interview process will continue from August 5 to August 25, 2026. Interviews will be conducted at the divisional level to make the recruitment process more organized and accessible.

Only candidates who cleared the required IBA examination will be eligible to participate in this stage of the selection process. Final recruitment will be based on the applicable merit criteria and interview performance.

Several important provincial departments are included in the latest hiring campaign. Vacancies will be filled in the Energy Department and the Livestock and Fisheries Department.

The recruitment drive also covers the Auqaf, Zakat, Ushr and Religious Affairs Department, along with the College Education Department. These departments are expected to recruit eligible candidates for various vacant posts.

The Works and Services Department is also part of the recruitment campaign. In addition, appointments will be made in the Board of Revenue and the Transport and Mass Transit Department.

The Sports and Youth Affairs Department will also recruit staff under the new hiring plan. These appointments are intended to strengthen the workforce in different government offices.

The Sindh Govt has further included the Agriculture Department, Supply and Prices Department, and the Labor and Human Resources Department in the recruitment process.

Other departments participating in the hiring campaign include the Anti-Corruption Department, Culture and Tourism Department, and the Women Development Department.

Officials said the recruitment process has been designed to ensure transparency and merit-based selection. Conducting interviews at the divisional level is expected to make the process smoother for applicants across the province.

Candidates have been advised to prepare the required documents before appearing for interviews. Authorities are expected to issue further instructions regarding interview schedules and venues through official channels.

The recruitment campaign aims to fill long-vacant government positions and improve administrative capacity in multiple departments. Successful candidates will be appointed according to the approved government recruitment policy.
