Fans of Pakistan Idol may not have to wait much longer after singer and songwriter Bilal Maqsood shared a new teaser that has reignited excitement about the show’s return.
Bilal posted a photo on Instagram featuring the Pakistan Idol judging panel, including Zeb Bangash, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Bilal Maqsood and Fawad Khan, alongside the caption, “Are You Ready?“ The post quickly drew attention from fans eager to see the popular singing competition back on screen.
The teaser follows comments from fellow judge Zeb Bangash, who recently confirmed that filming for the remaining episodes is underway. She also told fans that the competition had resumed, saying the show’s contestants were back.
Pakistan Idol was postponed earlier this year because of regional tensions. At the time, organisers assured contestants and viewers that production had only been paused and that the competition would continue when circumstances allowed.
Bilal Maqsood’s latest post has strengthened expectations that the programme is moving closer to its return. However, an official broadcast date has not yet been announced.
The comeback will allow contestants to complete the competition and reconnect audiences with one of Pakistan’s best-known television singing contests.
