Nimra Khan Recalls Years in a Wheelchair
The actress spoke about the emotional impact of losing her ability to walk.
She said accepting the possibility of never walking again was extremely difficult. During her years in a wheelchair, Nimra recalled feeling as though she was a “dead person.”
She also noticed changes in how some people behaved around her. According to Nimra, those experiences made an already difficult period even harder.
Her recovery was not limited to physical challenges. The actress said she experienced anxiety, depression, hopelessness and a lack of motivation during that period.
Return to Walking and Acting
Over time, Nimra Khan began rebuilding her life. She eventually started walking again and gradually returned to acting.
However, she said her appearance did not always reflect what she was experiencing physically.
Even after returning to work, her bones still felt weak. She knew she had not fully regained her physical strength. Nimra eventually decided that the accident could not define the rest of her life.
She continued moving forward and watched her daily routine slowly return to normal. Her message focused on persistence rather than becoming strong overnight.
Actress Calls Recovery a ‘Second Chance at Life’
Looking back, Nimra described surviving the accident as her “second chance at life.”
She credited Allah, her parents and loved ones for supporting her throughout the difficult recovery. The actress also shared how her perspective on her scars has changed.

Towards the end of her video, she summed up her experience with one word: “Sabr.” She encouraged people facing difficult circumstances to remain hopeful and trust Allah’s plan.
