Pakistan batter Saim Ayub delivered a brilliant performance in the Caribbean Premier League. He scored a century for Jamaica Kingsmen against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
Saim Ayub smashed 102 runs from just 58 balls. His innings included six fours and eight sixes.
The left-handed batter faced immediate pressure after entering the match early. Naseem Shah dismissed opener Keacy Carty with the first delivery.
Saim Ayub came to the crease at No. 3. He quickly took control against a strong Patriots bowling attack.

His innings finally ended in the 19th over. Obed McCoy dismissed Saim Ayub with the Kingsmen score at 164.
Keemo Paul then provided a strong finish for Jamaica. He remained unbeaten on 25 as the Kingsmen reached 182-7.
McCoy, Naseem Shah and Hasaranga claimed two wickets each. Their efforts helped limit Jamaicaโs scoring during the final overs.
However, the Kingsmen had already gained momentum through Ayubโs outstanding innings. His century proved crucial in setting a challenging target.
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots then began their chase of 183 runs. The Patriots battled throughout their innings but could not reach the target.
They finished on 171-6 after completing their 20 overs. Jamaica therefore secured a victory over the Patriots.
The result also marked the Patriotsโ fourth defeat of the tournament. Their chase fell 12 runs short of Jamaicaโs total.
Saim Ayubโs century was the standout performance of the match. His aggressive approach helped Jamaica recover from a difficult start.
The Pakistani batter showed excellent control while attacking experienced bowlers. His eight sixes provided a major boost to the Kingsmenโs scoring rate.
Ayub also played an important role in rebuilding the innings. His partnership with Powell prevented Jamaica from collapsing after four early wickets.
