The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued a Travel advisory for passengers travelling to Pakistan. The agency urged travellers to check their documents before starting their journey.
According to APP, an FIA official said dual nationals must carry valid travel documents. They should have a valid Pakistani passport, NICOP, or Pakistan e-Visa where applicable.
The guidance aims to help passengers avoid delays and difficulties at airports. Travellers have been advised to confirm immigration requirements before boarding their flights.
The FIA also clarified rules for Pakistani nationals working abroad. Such citizens can return to Pakistan even if their CNIC has expired.
However, they must have other required travel documents under applicable regulations. The agency stressed that passengers should meet all relevant entry and immigration requirements.
The latest Travel advisory also covers the importance of checking passport validity. Passengers should ensure their passports remain valid for their planned journey.
They should also confirm that their identity documents are current and acceptable for travel. Any missing or invalid document could create problems during the travel process.
The FIA advised passengers to verify requirements before reaching the airport. This can help them identify any document issues before their flights.
Dual nationals should pay particular attention to the documents required for entry into Pakistan. Requirements may differ depending on their citizenship status and travel circumstances.
The agency encouraged travellers to remain informed about applicable immigration rules. It said proper preparation could help prevent unnecessary inconvenience.
The FIA’s message comes as Pakistani citizens and dual nationals continue travelling between Pakistan and other countries. Many overseas Pakistanis regularly return to the country for visits or family commitments.
Passengers should therefore check their documents well before departure. They should also confirm whether additional documentation is required for their specific circumstances.
The Travel advisory highlights the importance of completing all necessary checks before travelling. The FIA urged passengers to ensure their documents are ready before beginning their journey.
“Stay informed, travel prepared,” the agency said. The FIA encouraged travellers to follow the required procedures and verify their documentation.
Following the Travel advisory can help passengers reduce the risk of problems during their journey. Travellers are advised to remain updated on immigration requirements before flying to Pakistan.
