ARY News has obtained WhatsApp messages between Karachi businessman Mir Raza Ali and his friend Abdullah Bhardey.

The messages reportedly discuss the family’s financial difficulties and major losses. The conversation surfaced as authorities continue examining Mir Raza Ali’s case.

In one message, Abdullah urged Mir Raza to remain strong. He also encouraged his friend to speak with him.

Abdullah reportedly assured Mir Raza that he would avoid discussing business matters. Mir Raza then allegedly explained the financial crisis facing his family.

“Boss, our father has been scammed out of Rs15 million,” Mir Raza allegedly wrote.

In another exchange, Mir Raza reportedly described the family’s efforts to cover its losses. He said they had sold gold and other valuable assets.

According to the message, gold worth Rs14 million was sold. A vehicle worth Rs3 million was also reportedly sold on the same day.

Mir Raza allegedly told his friend that the family had lost everything. The messages provide an account of the financial pressure faced by the family.

The WhatsApp messages also indicate that the financial losses were significant. However, the claims made in private messages have not been independently verified.

Meanwhile, sources said an alleged video involving payments to creditors had surfaced. The footage reportedly shows several people exchanging money at Mir Raza’s residence.

The circumstances surrounding the alleged payments remain unclear. The authenticity and context of the footage could not be independently verified.

The developments are part of the wider investigation into the Mir Raza Ali case. The case has also involved a judicial inquiry into his death.

Police Surgeon Dr Summaiya Sayed Tariq appeared before the judicial inquiry commission. She recorded her statement regarding the death and related medical procedures.

Dr Summaiya provided details about the exhumation and second post-mortem. She also discussed forensic findings presented during the proceedings.

During her statement, Dr Summaiya said she had raised concerns about the case. She said she contacted SSP East Zubair Nazeer Sheikh on August 2, 2026.

She reportedly recommended an exhumation through a letter dated August 3. A second letter followed on August 5.

That letter again requested an exhumation and a fresh post-mortem examination. The recommendations were made during the early stages of the inquiry.

Dr Summaiya also explained how medical boards are generally formed. She said doctors are selected based on their expertise and professional experience.

She told the commission that courts can direct relevant health authorities. These include the health secretary, director general of health services and police surgeon.

According to Dr Summaiya, experienced medical experts were included in Mir Raza’s medical board. She maintained that the board had members with relevant professional experience.

The inquiry is examining different aspects of the case. These include the medical evidence, forensic findings and circumstances surrounding Mir Raza’s death.

The WhatsApp messages have added another element to the ongoing case. They reportedly provide details about the family’s financial situation before the investigation progressed.

Authorities will determine the significance of the messages and other evidence. Any claims regarding financial transactions or alleged payments remain subject to verification.
