The weather department expects Lahore to remain partly cloudy. The city may record a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature is expected to remain around 22 degrees Celsius. Winds may blow at approximately 10 kilometres per hour.
Humidity in Lahore is expected to remain high at around 92 percent. These conditions may support further rainfall in the city.
Islamabad is also expected to receive rain with thunder and lightning. Some areas could experience heavy showers and gusty winds.
The Met Office has predicted rainfall across several upper regions. Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab are included in the forecast.
The weather department said thunderstorms may affect various locations. Heavy rain could also occur in parts of Islamabad.
The current wet spell is expected to continue in northern areas. Rainfall and thunderstorms may persist until September 18.
