JS Bank has received the ESG Award for its Community Health Outreach Programme at the ESG Business Awards. The recognition highlights the bank’s efforts to improve access to healthcare for underserved communities across Pakistan.
The award acknowledges initiatives focused on social impact, healthcare support, and sustainable community development. JS Bank has been working on healthcare projects aimed at providing medical facilities to people in areas with limited access to quality services.
The Community Health Outreach Programme focuses on three major areas. These include primary and maternal healthcare services in remote regions, specialised free treatment for chronic and reproductive health conditions, and health awareness activities at the community level.
One of the key initiatives under the programme is the Jahangir Siddiqui Hospital in Sehwan. The project is being carried out in collaboration with the Indus Hospital and Health Network.
JS Bank has also supported the phased rehabilitation of the hospital after the devastating floods of 2022. The initiative aims to strengthen healthcare facilities and improve medical services for local communities.
The programme also includes the Uro Gynae Clinic, which provides free medical treatment for patients facing urological and gynaecological conditions. In 2025, the clinic provided treatment to more than 900 patients.
The bank has also continued its support for the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT). Through this collaboration, patients receive free specialist healthcare services in areas including nephrology, cancer treatment, and organ transplantation.
The Community Health Outreach Programme reflects a focus on expanding healthcare access for vulnerable groups. It combines medical services, awareness campaigns, and partnerships with healthcare organisations.
The ESG Award recognition highlights the role of corporate initiatives in supporting social development goals. Through its healthcare projects, JS Bank continues to contribute to improving medical support for communities across Pakistan.
