On Saturday, October 14, people will have the opportunity to witness this year’s second and last solar eclipse, which astronomers have named the ‘Ring of Fire.’
An annular solar eclipse, also known as a ring of fire eclipse, occurs when the Moon is at or near its farthest point from Earth. Because the Moon is farther away during this eclipse, it appears smaller and does not completely block out the Sun when it passes in front of it. Instead, a bright ring of the Sun remains visible at the eclipse’s peak, creating the ring of fire effect.

Unfortunately, this celestial event will not be visible in Pakistan. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) stated that the eclipse will be visible in southwestern Mexico, various countries in Central America, central Colombia, and northern Brazil.
The eclipse is scheduled to begin on October 14 at 8:04 pm (PST), reach its peak at 10:59 pm, and end on October 15 at 1:55 am.
