The price of gold in Pakistan experienced its second consecutive day of decline on Friday, closing at Rs. 197,100 per tola.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA) reported that the price of 24-carat gold fell by Rs. 100 per tola, reaching Rs. 197,100, while the price of 10 grams decreased by Rs. 89, closing at Rs. 168,981.

This decline followed a recent increase in gold prices, which surged by Rs. 5,500 per tola to reach Rs. 205,000 on Wednesday but subsequently dropped by Rs. 7,800 per tola to close at Rs. 197,200 on Thursday.
In the international market, spot gold increased by almost 1 percent to $1,886.40 per ounce, with US gold futures also rising by 0.9 percent to $1,899.20.
