Musk shared the news on the platform, describing it as an “Early version of video & audio calling on X.” This move is part of Musk’s efforts to introduce new features and changes to the platform since he acquired it nearly a year ago and rebranded it as X.
As part of the transformation, Musk has expressed his intention to turn X into a super-app, offering a wide range of services, including messaging, social networking, and peer-to-peer payments. He previously hinted that these new features would not require users to provide a phone number and would be accessible on various platforms, including Apple’s iOS, Google’s Android, and personal computers.
This move reflects Musk’s vision for X as a comprehensive and multifunctional platform, expanding its capabilities beyond traditional social media interactions.
