The Indian government has granted visas to 102 Pakistani pilgrims, allowing them to participate in the 720th annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya in India.
The pilgrims had previously submitted visa applications and gathered at Haji Camp Lahore in anticipation.

The Indian Embassy initially did not grant visas, causing concerns, but later approved visas for 102 pilgrims. These pilgrims will travel through the Wagah border to attend the Urs celebrations in Delhi. However, visa applications for 148 other Pakistani pilgrims were rejected.
The Indian Embassy cited not yet receiving permission from New Delhi for issuing visas.
