When it was released, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra was the company’s premier flagship, boasting the best camera features, but it was only available in China. However, the upcoming global launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which has been confirmed for later this month, will finally change things around.

Xiaomi has acknowledged its partnership with Leica on its Weibo page, while Leica has stated that their collaboration will continue on Twitter. According to Xiaomi, the new Ultra model will have an unrivalled camera system, including a first-of-its-kind Summicron lens.

Concurrently, Singapore’s communications regulator, the IMDA, has approved a phone with the model number 2304FPN6DG. There are no significant revelations in the specifications, which include 5G connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC.
However, the anticipation for this phone’s international debut is noteworthy. We expect Xiaomi to release more information about the device in the coming days, including teasers of its massive camera island, which is expected to outperform the 12S Ultra.
