The analysis, covering 145 countries, provides yearly updates on military rankings. In terms of defense budget, the United States leads in spending, followed by China, Russia, India, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom. Pakistan is ranked 47th in defense budget.
The top 10 countries with the most powerful militaries include the United States, Russia, China, India, South Korea, United Kingdom, Japan, Turkey, Pakistan, and Italy. Conversely, the 10 countries with the least powerful militaries are Bhutan, Moldova, Suriname, Somalia, Benin, Liberia, Belize, Sierra Leone, Central African Republic, and Iceland.
