Supporters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, led by former Prime Minister Imran Khan, have taken to the streets in various parts of the country to protest against the delay in announcing the results of Thursday’s parliamentary election.
Demonstrators have blocked roads and staged protests, expressing frustration over the prolonged wait for official election outcomes. Independent candidates backed by the PTI were initially leading in early results.

The election has been marked by sporadic violence, accusations of a predetermined outcome, and the suspension of mobile phone services. As of now, results for 156 National Assembly seats have been announced, with PTI-backed candidates securing 59 seats. Final results are expected later in the day.
The situation remains tense, with concerns about the transparency and fairness of the electoral process.
