On Thursday, the price of gold in Pakistan experienced an increase of Rs. 900 per tola, reaching a settlement of Rs. 215,700.
Data released by the Karachi Sarafa Association indicates that the price of gold (24 carats) surged by Rs. 900 per tola to Rs. 215,700, with the price of 10 grams rising by Rs. 772 to Rs. 184,928.

In the preceding day, Wednesday, the price of gold had declined by Rs. 1,100 per tola. However, at the beginning of the week, there was a notable increase of Rs. 700 per tola, followed by a marginal rise of Rs. 100 per tola on Tuesday. With the exception of Wednesday, the local market has witnessed an upward trend in gold prices throughout the week.
In the international market, spot gold remained relatively stable at $2,030.62 per ounce as of 1058 GMT, while US gold futures experienced a minor decrease of 0.2 percent, reaching $2,038.80.
