The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled to convene tomorrow for the sighting of the Ramadan moon in Peshawar, following evening prayers.
Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir will preside over the meeting for the sighting of the Ramadan moon for the Hijri year 1445, as stated by the committee’s spokesperson.
Simultaneously, meetings of other zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal committees will take place at their respective locations. The final announcement regarding the moon sighting will be made by the chairman based on testimonies received from different parts of the country.

The meteorological department has already predicted the sighting of the Ramadan moon on March 11.
Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have instructed their citizens to search for the Ramadan moon on March 10, suggesting the possibility of starting Ramadan a day earlier than Pakistan, as is typically observed.
The sacred month of Ramadan, characterized by devout dedication, will witness millions of Pakistanis and billions of Muslims worldwide engaging in fasting from sunrise to sunset, with fasting durations ranging from 12 to 17 hours depending on geographical locations.
