Pakistani Squash Star Ashab Irfan Triumphs Over India In Kanso Open Championship

Ashab Irfan, a Pakistani squash player, clinched the championship title at the Kanso Open Squash Championship in Houston, defeating India’s Veer Chotrani in a tightly contested final.

The 20-year-old Ashab achieved this victory following his impressive performance at the Rochester Proam tournament in the United States earlier in the year.

During the Kanso Open, Irfan displayed excellent form, defeating Mexico’s Jorge Luis Gomez Dominguez in a thrilling match to progress to the semifinals. He then faced Canadian Liam Morrison in another intense battle, securing his place in the final.

On the other side, Indian player Chotrani reached the final by defeating Mexico’s Alfredo Avila Vergara in a closely fought semifinal match.

Irfan’s win at the Kanso tournament solidified his reputation as a rising star in international and highlighted Pakistan’s prowess in racket sports.
