Pakistan’s white-ball cricket captain, Babar Azam, recently shared his experiences and personal insights during a rapid-fire interview with South African cricket legend AB de Villiers on de Villiers’ YouTube channel.
When asked to name the toughest bowler he has ever faced, Babar promptly responded, “Pat Cummins.” De Villiers agreed, adding, “Yeah, I agree with that. He’s very close. He’s one of the toughest bowlers I have ever faced.” Despite being dismissed by Cummins several times, Babar maintains impressive averages of 52.3 in Tests and 86 in ODIs against the Australian bowler, and Cummins has never dismissed Babar in T20 Internationals.
