Pakistan Secures Bronze Medal at Asian U18 Volleyball Championship

Pakistan clinched the bronze medal at the Asian Under-18 Volleyball Championship in Bahrain by defeating the defending champions Japan 3-0 in the third-place match. The Green Shirts dominated the game from start to finish, winning with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, and 25-17.

This victory not only marks Pakistan’s first medal in any age group at the Asian Volleyball Championship since 2008 but also qualifies them for the World Under-19 Volleyball Championship next year. The Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) celebrated the achievement, highlighting the promising future of volleyball in the country.

Earlier, Pakistan narrowly lost to China in the semi-finals with a 3-2 score. The match was closely contested, with China winning the first set 25-23, Pakistan taking the second 25-22, China winning the third 25-22, Pakistan securing the fourth 25-23, and China finally prevailing 15-8 in the fifth set to advance to the final.
