In a clash between security forces and Khawarij in South Waziristan, four army personnel were martyred and six Khawarij were killed.
The Pakistan Army Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported an exchange of fire between the two sides.

During the confrontation, Havaldar Nisar Hussain, Naik Rashid Gul, Naik Irfanullah Khan, and Sepoy Usman Rafaqat were martyred.
ISPR stated that security forces remain dedicated to combating terrorism and are conducting a sanitization operation to remove any intruders.
The sacrifices of these soldiers further strengthen the resolve to end the terrorist threat.
