In an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kurram district, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, security forces eliminated Seven Terrorists and seized a significant stockpile of arms and ammunition from their hideout, according to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement released on Thursday.
The operation also resulted in five additional terrorists being injured, and the hideout was dismantled with substantial weapons and explosives recovered.

The ISPR noted that the deceased terrorists were involved in numerous attacks against security forces and civilians. The operation’s aim is to eradicate terrorism from the country, with ongoing sanitization efforts to remove any remaining threats in the area.
President Asif Ali Zardari praised the security forces for their professionalism and reaffirmed the national commitment to eradicating terrorism.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also lauded the forces for their dedication and bravery, highlighting the nation’s support for the ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorism.
Additionally, Punjab police successfully thwarted a terrorist attack on an inter-provincial post in Dera Ghazi Khan, with security forces effectively using thermal imaging and heavy weaponry to drive back the attackers.
