The PTI suggested a constitutional struggle through a unified opposition alliance. However, Mengal expressed hesitation, citing the severe conditions in Balochistan and stating that the time for dialogue had passed.
Mengal emphasized that Balochistan’s genuine issues are not being understood, making the decision to return difficult.
Separately, a PML-N delegation led by Rana Sanaullah also met with Mengal, expressing surprise over his resignation and emphasizing his importance in Balochistan, while trying to convince him to reconsider.
