The highly anticipated Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 is underway, with around 170,000 aspiring medical students appearing in over 30 cities nationwide.
To ensure a smooth and transparent examination, provincial governments and the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) have implemented strict measures, including the suspension of internet services within 500 meters of test centers during the exam.

Section 144 is enforced at all venues, with legal consequences for violations. PMDC, in collaboration with security agencies, is using advanced surveillance to maintain security and transparency.
Candidates have been warned against cheating, with severe penalties in place for those caught engaging in unethical practices. Over 78 test centers are being managed by various institutions, including Shahid Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, University of Health Sciences, Khyber Medical University, and Dow University.
