Back to school, Rizwan and Babar!

The pair has joined the executive education course on BEMS at Harvard Business School.

(Web Desk) LAHORE – Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, posted an intriguing image to his Twitter account with the caption, “Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai (What is going on?)” as the pair began their executive education programme at the Harvard Business School on Wednesday for the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports (BEMS).

Babar Azam, the top one-day batter in the world, is shown studying with Muhammad Rizwan while there are papers on the ground. While Rizwan is reading while seated on the floor in a room, Babar is seen reading a paper while resting on a sofa with his legs propped up against a wall.

The two will be the first crickets to enroll in the exclusive institution. They will take part in the programme at the school’s Boston, Massachusetts, campus from May 31 to June 3. After the programme ends till June 13, both cricket players will interact with diverse communities in the US.

Other athletes, such as Kaka, Edwin van der Sar, Gerard Pique, Oliver Kahn of football, Brandon Marshall of the NFL, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade of basketball, and Alex Rodriguez of Major League Baseball, have already taken this course.

Speaking on the programme, Muhammad Rizwan had previously stated that it was an enormous privilege to represent Pakistan on such an esteemed international platform.

In addition to studying from the top professors and programme fellows in the world, he said that they were attending Harvard’s BEMS programme in order to share their experiences and lessons learned with everyone.

He expressed his confidence that it will be a thrilling trip and expressed excitement about imparting their knowledge and experiences to the next cricketing superstars.

Similar sentiments were expressed by Babar, who claimed to be a lifelong learner and to have had in-depth discussions about this curriculum with Prof. Elberse and [Talha] Rehmani.

He continued by saying that there were untold lessons to be learned from the incredible sportsmen and successful businesspeople in the industry.
