Pakistan Gears Up to Host Its First-Ever South Asian Cross Country Athletics Championship

Pakistan is preparing to host the South Asian Cross Country Athletics Championship for the very first time. Scheduled for November 24 in Islamabad, the event received official approval from the Pakistan Sports Board, which granted the Athletics Federation of Pakistan a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

Athletes from various South Asian nations, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives, will participate. The Government of Pakistan has also cleared all teams, including India, to take part, reinforcing the country’s commitment to regional sports cooperation.
