A hit-and-run incident near the Port Qasim Oil Depot in Karachi resulted in the tragic deaths of a father and his infant son, while the mother was left in critical condition.
The accident occurred when an unidentified vehicle struck the motorbike carrying the family. According to police reports, all three family members sustained serious injuries and were quickly taken to Jinnah Hospital and a private medical facility for treatment.

The 40-year-old father, Abid, died from his injuries at Jinnah Hospital, while his one-and-a-half-year-old son, Atif, also succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital. The mother’s condition, 35-year-old Nadra, remains critical.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the collision was caused by an unknown vehicle, and police are continuing their inquiries into the incident.
In a separate traffic incident in Punjab, a girl was killed, and seven others were injured in a road accident on October 8. Rescue-1122 reported that two families were returning to Sargodha from Faisalabad in a van when a truck rear-ended their vehicle near Faisalabad Road. The rescue team promptly arrived at the scene and transported the victims to Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital, while police are investigating the matter.
