Darren Gough, the former England fast bowler and ex-Managing Director of Yorkshire County Cricket Club, has been appointed as the head coach of Lahore Qalandars. The team management expressed their enthusiasm for Gough’s appointment, stating, “We are thrilled to have Darren Gough as our head coach. He will start his responsibilities with the team in the upcoming Global Super League.”
Gough shared his excitement about joining the Qalandars, saying, “It’s an honor to work with Lahore Qalandars. I have previously supported their Player Development Program in Lahore, and I look forward to this new role with the team.” His prior involvement with the team reflects his commitment to the franchise’s development and success.
