Coast Guards Seize Hashish Worth $21 Million in Balochistan

The Pakistan Coast Guards recently conducted a major anti-smuggling operation in Gwadar district, Balochistan, leading to the seizure of 1,292 kg of high-quality hashish, valued at approximately $21.6 million. The operation was initiated based on intelligence reports and took place in the Kumb area, where officers discovered the substantial cache hidden in bushes.

Authorities believe the seized hashish was intended for smuggling, either within Pakistan or to international destinations, highlighting the strategic significance of Balochistan’s coastline in trafficking routes. The Coast Guards emphasized their unwavering commitment to combatting drug smuggling activities, which pose a considerable threat to national security.
