The Macau Grand Prix, known as a proving ground for future Formula 1 talent, celebrates its 71st edition this Sunday. With its challenging Guia Street Circuit, the event has seen legends like Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher claim victories, while current stars Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen didn’t conquer its twists and turns.
This year, five young drivers attached to F1 teams are competing, including Ferrari’s Dino Beganovic, who is tipped as a future F1 star. Despite a frustrating qualifying session marred by heavy rain and crashes, Beganovic remains determined.

Other rising stars include McLaren’s Ugo Ugochukwu, who secured pole position at just 17, and Red Bull junior Oliver Goethe, starting alongside him on the front row. Finnish Ferrari driver Tuukka Taponen and McLaren’s Alex Dunne are also aiming to make their mark.
