The film, directed by Sahra Mani, highlights the resilience of three Afghan womenβ€”a dentist, an activist, and a government employeeβ€”who face the loss of their careers and independence. Malala hopes their stories inspire global support for Afghan women, stressing the urgency of action.

Bread & Roses, co-produced with Jennifer Lawrence, streams worldwide on November 22.
