Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed his commitment to making Pakistan a polio-free nation, emphasizing unified efforts by federal and provincial governments. He stated that all provinces are aligned in the fight against polio, with active measures underway to combat the disease.
During a meeting with the Polio Oversight Board delegation, including global health representatives, Shehbaz thanked international organizations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, UNICEF, and WHO for their support in Pakistan’s anti-polio initiatives.
