On November 21, Mushtaq Hussain, one of the victims of a shooting on passenger vehicles in Lower Kurram, succumbed to his injuries, bringing the death toll from that attack to 50.

In the past four days, 88 have died, and 111 have been wounded in various incidents. The main Peshawar Highway is closed, and internet and mobile services have been suspended. Educational institutions across Kurram District are shut, and exams have been postponed.
A government delegation, including top officials, visited the area to negotiate peace, with local leaders demanding that the highway be reopened for safe travel. The violence erupted after a massacre in Parachinar, where 50 people were killed in an attack on a convoy. Tribal factions engaged in intense clashes, leading to 83 more deaths.
In response to the violence, protests erupted, and there were reports of attacks on vehicles and disruptions in traffic. Authorities are struggling to restore order, and security forces remain deployed in the region. Meanwhile, a government delegation traveling to Kurram was targeted by gunmen, though the helicopter carrying the officials safely landed.
