Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif criticized the violent PTI protests, calling them an act of “bloodshed, not revolution.” He condemned attacks on Rangers and police, mourning the deaths of four Rangers and two police officers during the clashes.

Shehbaz stressed that violence under the guise of protests is unacceptable and vowed justice for the slain officers’ families. He also directed authorities to prosecute those responsible and provide medical care to the injured.
Amid rising tensions, Islamabad’s red zone has been fortified with Rangers and heavy security deployment under Article 245.
