Protesters, led by Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, reached the capital by Monday evening, defying government efforts to quell the demonstrations. Security forces used tear gas to disperse the crowd, intensifying the violence.

The clashes prompted the government to tighten security, aiming to restore order amid rising tensions.
