Explosions outside two clubs in Chandigarh, including one owned by rapper Badshah, were reportedly orchestrated by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang following unsuccessful extortion attempts, according to a social media post by Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar.
The blasts took place Monday night near Seville Bar and Lounge, owned by Badshah, and De’Orra Club, managed by local businessmen.

A Facebook post, purportedly written by Goldy Brar, claimed responsibility for the attacks, stating they were intended to send a warning to those who ignore demands for “protection money.”
The unverified post identified Rohit Godara, another gang member, as a co-conspirator in the explosions. CCTV footage captured a man throwing crude bombs at the clubs before fleeing the scene. The blasts caused glass windows to shatter, though no injuries were reported.
Police have initiated a thorough investigation, but the club owners have yet to comment on the incident.
Goldy Brar, whose real name is Satinderjit Singh, was declared a terrorist by India’s central government earlier this year and is believed to have masterminded the 2022 murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
Lawrence Bishnoi, currently in Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat, faces charges related to cross-border drug trafficking. Rohit Godara has been implicated in multiple crimes, including an alleged shooting outside actor Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai and the murders of Moosewala and Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena leader Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang was also recently tied to the murder of Baba Siddique in Mumbai.
Badshah, who opened Seville Bar and Lounge in December 2023, co-owns two other clubs. Renowned for his work in Hindi, English, Punjabi, and Haryanvi, he has contributed to Bollywood films such as Kapoor & Sons and Crew.
