Pakistan’s cricket team has been dealt a significant setback ahead of the third ODI against Zimbabwe, with fast bowlers Ahmed Daniyal and Shahnawaz Dahani ruled out of the series due to injuries. Daniyal suffered a hamstring injury, while Dahani injured his left ankle during a training session. Both players have been sent back to Lahore for rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy.

To cover the absences, Abbas Afridi and Jahandad Khan have been called up as replacements and will join the squad in Bulawayo ahead of Thursday’s decider. Aamir Jamal will replace Daniyal in the T20I squad for the upcoming series in December.
The ODI series has seen mixed results so far, with Zimbabwe winning the rain-affected first match and Pakistan leveling the series with a strong performance in the second ODI, led by Saim Ayub’s match-winning century.
The third ODI, scheduled for Thursday, November 28, will decide the winner of the series.
